Titcomb’s Bookshop the Brave

Back in 2013, before Undertow officially launched, I wandered into Titcomb’s Bookshop in Sandwich Massachusetts and happened to come face-to-face with owner Vicky Titcomb. I was hoping the fabulous, barn-like bookshop would take a chance on me – a self-pubbed weirdo from the Cape who wrote one YA novel on a sleep-deprived whim. At the time, Undertow wasn’t even out yet and barely had any reviews. I had only just sent ARCs to the Cape Cod Times and Barnstable Patriot editor, Kat Szmit (more folks, who I can never thank enough for their enthusiasm over the series and the fabulous publicity they’ve thrown its way over the years).
This coming weekend, I am signing the Undertow series at the little bookshop that started it all. While I know everyone has super busy lives, I’d ask you to please come say “HI,” grab some books or toys (OMG, the toys at Titcomb’s are EPIC), and show your support of Vicky and her crew and their wonderful, quirky little bookshop on Rte 6A.
